What does a cover model do to relax?
Stephanie Seymour may live the glamorous life, but she tell SELF that she yearns for wind-down moments like every other member of the stressed-out human race. So how does this mega-model do it? You might expect her to rely on a daily 90-minute massage or a session with an of-the-moment yoga guru. The truth is, Seymour's favorite natural pleasures probably sound astoundingly like yours:
She goes for a walk
"There are lots of wooded trails around our farm in Connecticut, and my husband and I love to take long strolls with our golden retrievers, Honey and Roxy. I try to take time to notice the wildflowers and ferns that grow along the paths. Sometimes that's difficult since my husband is a speed-walker!"
She does Yoga
"I stick with the sun salutation because it's a great portable work-out -- I can do it in a gym, in a hotel room or on location. I don't wear cute yoga outfits. I usually just throw on a T-shirt and shorts."
Or plays in the mud
"There are few things I love more than having my hands in the dirt. I love tending my roses, herbs and lavender, then collecting the prettiest cuttings in my favorite bud vase."
She makes dinner
"Even if I've made the same risotto 10 times (my favorite is primavera), I still consult the recipe. I'm a stickler for following directions, but I always find cooking relaxing."
