Once lumped in with those irritating "We don't get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day" super models of the '90s, Stephanie Seymour, now 45, has just fulfilled a lifelong dream -- that of working for Estée Lauder.
As a teenage model, Seymour remembers her mom Karen Graham (herself a spokes model) telling her that she would work for the Lauder company one day. But, throughout her storied career that's included stints as a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and a Victoria's Secret Angel as well as campaigns with Revlon, Dior and L'Oréal, that one gig remained elusive. Till just before Christmas last year.

Peter Brant began collecting Warhol works in 1968, when he was just 21 years old. His first purchase: a rare crayon and pencil sketch of a Campbell's Black Bean Soup can from 1962. Over the past 45 years, Brant's collection has grown exponentially to include everything from iconic silk screens from the "Mao," "Marilyn," and "Most Wanted Men" series; to Brillo boxes; Basquiat collaborations; Polaroids from the '70s and '80s; golden shoe illustrations from the '50s; self-portraits; skulls; oxidation paintings; black light paintings; and Rorschach imitations.
For the Brant Foundation's first traveling exhibition, Peter Brant and his daughter Allison assembled 200 of Andy's works. While most came from the Foundation's private collection, some, such as a giant Mao print Mr. and Mrs. Brant donated to the Met Museum in the late '70s, were on loan. … read more »

On February 28, 2013, Stephanie Seymour Brant, Peter Brant, Brooke Garber Neidich, Daniel Neidich and the Child Mind Institute Board of Directors joined together for a once in a lifetime auction of great art to benefit great science. The evening raised more than more than $2 million for the cause, a record dollar amount for any auction the non-profit has held since it’s inception in 2010. The one-time event at Sotheby’s brought together some of the world’s most renowned contemporary artists and collectors to raise funds for the Child Mind Institute’s Healthy Brain Network, a landmark effort to chart brain development and find new diagnostic tools and treatments for pediatric mental illness.
